Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage children in stimulating activities that promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment where children feel valued and supported.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a sense of community and collaboration.
  • Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, tailoring activities to meet the individual needs and interests of each child.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development and achievements.
  • Work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities that inspire curiosity and creativity.
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure the welfare and safety of all children in our care.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent (e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or NNEB).
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and upholding the highest standards of practice.
