Nursery Assistanrt

A warm and inviting school in South Bristol is seeking several teaching assistants who can support children in nursery. These positions are available immediately and are ongoing.

This role is based within a nursery of a primary school where you would work with 3-4 years olds instilling a great learning environment for them to succeed and set foundations for their learning. Your main duties will include: reading stories, supporting children’s speech and language and helping the class teacher set up the early years provision.

The successful candidate will have:

• Passion for working with children,

• Previous experience of working with children is essential,
• Previous experience of working in a nursery environment is desirable but not essential,
• A Level 2 or Level 3 based childcare qualification is highly desirable,

• Will be proactive and eager to carry out responsibilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
