We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to support our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team in providing a stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Assist the EYFS teachers in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities that support children's learning and development.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support children's social, emotional, and academic progress through one-on-one interactions and small group activities.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment that promotes exploration and curiosity.
  • Contribute to the planning and preparation of lessons and activities, ensuring they align with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience working with young children, preferably in an early years setting.
  • A warm and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for supporting children's development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and equality in the classroom.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
